Customer-Facing Data Engineer – Low-Code Pipelines | 16-24 hour per week
As a Customer-Facing Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in translating complex business requirements into scalable data solutions for an international manufacturing conglomerate undergoing a major transformation. The company is reshaping its IT landscape by migrating multiple ERP systems to SAP S/4HANA as part of a broader initiative to enhance operational efficiency and ensure high data quality.
In this role, you’ll collaborate directly with a diverse range of stakeholders, including BI managers, data owners and ERP implementation consultants, to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using premium low-code tools. Your ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions will be essential as you conduct multiple customer-facing meetings each week to gather requirements, share updates and deliver tailored solutions to a variety of challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business processes and data requirements in the context of ERP migration and IT modernization.
- Build, test, and deploy data pipelines using a low-code platform (requires basic understanding of python).
- Ensure data quality, governance, and accessibility standards are upheld across systems.
- Conduct weekly meetings with cross-functional roles to align on objectives and provide progress updates.
- Provide technical expertise to enable data-driven decision-making throughout the migration process.
